As the first program, Launching Reception and Press Conference was held, with 400 guests from Royal Thai Household, Thai governmental agencies, sponsoring companies, representatives of the organizers, and 60 media people, to announce the purpose and outline of the project worldwide. As the special delegation from Kyoto, Geiko and Maiko attended the reception to give a call to Thai people for joining the tree planting project to prevent the climate change.
